Kann Gyula KOSZTO LANYI (1868, Budapest - 1945, Budapest) :

Of Hungrian origins, Koszto Lanyi painted this canvas while he was working in France. Afterwards he will be a member of the Nagybanya group.

For more informations about this artistic school, see the catalogue of the exhibition "Lumières magyares, les Tendances coloristes de la Peinture Hongroise entre 1870 et 1914", that took place at the Paris Hôtel de Ville (room St Jean), from the 11th of October  2001 to the 13th of Janualy 2002, with the support of MAGYart, organised by the Hungrian National Gallery in Budapest.
