Natural History : A collection of original drawings, pencil gouache & watercolour, showing 140 different butterflies (each is figured twice on the same sheet, front and back) drawn by ten various Indochinese artists of the time, and binded in two volumes (12 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches).
Alfred Brunel de Neuville (1852-1941) a french painter, dedicated his talent mainly to still lifes and genre scenes with domestic animals. Oil on canvas, signed bottom right, 15 x 18 inches.
