The Gallery Cabotse will show a selection of original watercolours and etchings, circa 1917-1930 by André Lambert (1884 Stuttgart - 1967 Paris). Lambert studied in Munich with H. von Habermann, then in Paris with Fernand Cormon. He lived in Paris, and in Spain. His father was a famous swiss architect. Influenced by Aubrey Beardsley and by Karl Strahtmann, he mainly worked for illustration : Simplicissimus, the review created in Munich by Albert Langen in 1896, and litterature, such as : Petrone (Satiricon), Jules Verne (Zacharias, les Révoltés du Bounty ....) Théophile Gautier (le Roi Candaule), Flaubert .....
